Law of Primacy: Students retain information they learn for the first time longer than they retain information they must relearn.
A CFI must receive spin training, a requirement that evokes mixed emotions from the student and believe it or not, the instructor too. The problem is few instructors really know spins. Most can talk about them, often times with a great deal of knowledge. But ask your instructor how many spins they have ever done. Would you let an instructor that has only done a handful of landings teach you how to land?
We believe in learning this key skill correctly the first time. Our structured training goes far beyond the basic FAA requirements and builds a solid foundation the new instructor can use for years as they train future pilots.
